Horizontal alignment of the footer is determined by tabs inserted in the beginning of the footer text.

You may use fields in footers and headers. For example, if you want to insert current data, you may: 

1) type #DATE#; 

2) type '#' and choose corresponding field from the pop-up list with a list of all predefined fields; 

3) press Ctrl+Space and choose corresponding field from the pop-up list.
